We are pleased to announce the Second meeting of WG3 of the COST Action “European Network of Multidisciplinary Research and Translation of Autophagy knowledge” (TRANSAUTOPHAGY, CA15138) on
“Plant Autophagy: Improving Crop and Energy Production”
to be held in Madrid, Spain, March 23-24, 2017, at the Biological Research Center (CIB-CSIC).
The meeting will bring together European labs at the cutting edge of autophagy research in plant and algae, and will focus on recent advances on autophagy regulatory mechanisms, its role in plant growth, stress responses and immunity, as well as potential biotech applications aiming at improving crop and energy production. The program will include keynote invited lectures, oral and poster presentations, as well as time for discussion. Young scientists are especially invited to participate by submitting an abstract for presentation in the meeting.
Further information on the scientific program, abstract submission, registration and all updates will be announced at the TRANSAUTOPHAGY COST- CA15138 website.
As a complement to the scientific meeting, Madrid and its surroundings offer unique opportunities for the visitors.
Looking forward to meeting you in Madrid.
